You are right: one of the big advantages of nook is being able to use local points of reference (and then not have to repeat yourself later to explain what American or Brit meaning equals the local reference).

I really like that this site has attracted a vastly different group of people than most sites I’ve seen. There are plenty of music and sport, and other interest oriented forums, but they all had a focus to start with. Where as here I feel that the diversity in Victoria is being celebrated, and people of all ages can bounce around in here together.
It’s got a lot of potential!
